Good-Bye and Hello

Good-Bye and Hello

This long overdue post will be in the 'Nearly Wordless Moment' Category. As much as I would love to write for hours about the last few hectic weeks of our cross country move, I am a bit short on words at the moment. I believe that this is due to exhaustion, but it could also be exhaustion plus a glass of red wine.

I spent an interim week here in Portland waiting on my moving truck. What does one do with a free week? See the sights or maybe hit a protest/riot or two? Although both are great options, they were not as tempting as removing the overgrowth of 5 plus years of neglect from an extensive garden.

I have just returned from a dusk photo shoot of my semi-transformed front yard and have a few photos for my neglected followers. In addition to these candid shots, I have included a few pictures from my final days in Michigan. Come back later this week for a full post on how to restore order to a life torn apart.
