Smile, what's the use of Crying?

The song, "Smile", has been performed many times by many artists, but the Nat King Cole version is probably the best and most iconic. It keeps running through my head today. Life is feeling a bit wearisome at the moment. I know that being alive is a gift and one that I no longer take lightly, regardless of circumstances.

The weather is still so very cold here and the local greenhouses are a month away from opening their doors. In, yet, another attempt to freshen up my home for a potential buyer, I did what any irrational person would do. I contacted a friend that just happens to own a wholesale greenhouse business and begged her to let me purchase some violas. My desperate plea worked, and I am now the proud owner of the only violas in the state of Michigan.
