Cleaning Day Tip 5 with A Twist

Cleaning Day Tip 5 with A Twist

When I have an open house scheduled on a Wednesday evening and my normal bathroom and vacuuming day is on Thursday, it can be quite the dilemma. Obviously, I have to move the cleaning day up a bit as I only have one chance to make a first impression. However, Wednesday comes with it's own challenges as I have to be out in public for a bit on this day each week. This rules out my normal cleaning attire, since I am a firm believer in finding one outfit that works for your entire day. Naturally, I have a solution for this. I simply wear my cutest pair of casual rubber soled shoes with my machine washable Italian wool pants and clean away.

Some of you may be wondering, at this point, about the open house that I just mentioned. The LeBlanc's are embarking on yet another adventure. This is one of our biggest in a long time as Marty has left Kellogg's after 15 years and is starting a new role as the Director of Shopper Marketing for Tillamook in Portland, OR. How does one prepare for a cross country move with an 18 year old, 13 year old and two cats? We are all about to find out. Step 1 has been to put our house on the market. As we are hoping for a quick sale at top price, our little abode has to be clean and shiny at all times. This takes resilience, a positive attitude and lots of eating out.
